FAQs
Before you ask.
What does 'turnkey' mean?
It means you just have to make the decisions; we'll take care of everything else. Concept, suppliers, contracts, logistics, technical aspects, licences, set-up, on-the-day coordination and dismantling. One point of contact, one team, no calls at three in the morning.
Where do you work?
We organise events in Portugal, using our own team and a network of trusted partners.
How far in advance should we contact you?
For weddings and large events, 12 months is ideal. For corporate events, 3 to 4 months. That said, we've created memorable evenings in as little as 3 weeks. If the date is available, it's always worth having a chat.
What is the minimum investment?
Every event is bespoke, so we do not work with fixed price lists. Following an initial discussion, we present a proposal setting out the estimated cost and the various scope options.
Can we book just one of the elements, the music only, or the set design only?
Yes. Many clients start with a single element. Even so, it's fair to say that the effect which sets us apart comes about when all four are conceived as a whole by the same creative team.
We already have a venue. Can you work there?
We'll sort it out. And if you haven't found one yet, we'll help you find it. We know the venues well, including those that don't appear on the usual lists.
Are the artists part of your team?
We have our own artistic team and a carefully selected network of musicians, dancers and performers with whom we work on a regular basis. No artist takes part in an Xclusive event without us having seen them perform first.
Can we see or hear the artists before making a decision?
Yes. We share videos and references and, whenever possible, we arrange showcases or invite you to open performances.
Do you create original performances?
That's what we prefer to do. Choreography, musical arrangements and stage acts created from scratch for your story, including surprises that not everyone present knows are coming.
We've already got a wedding planner or an agency. Is there any point in speaking to you?
It does. In those cases we come in as the creative and artistic production partner, inside the team that already exists. We work well alongside others and we do not compete for the spotlight.
Do you handle licensing, insurance and copyright?
Yes. Municipal licences, insurance, SPA/PassMúsica, noise permits and technical requirements for the venue are all part of the turnkey service.
What if it rains on the day of the event?
All outdoor events are planned with an alternative scenario that is defined, tested and budgeted for in advance. We never come up with a Plan B at the last minute.
How many events do you take on each year?
A limited number, by choice. Each event has a dedicated team, which means we rarely accept two bookings for the same dates.
How do date bookings and payments work?
The date is confirmed upon signing the proposal and making the initial payment. The remainder is paid in instalments throughout the production process, according to a schedule set out in the contract. No surprises, no costs that crop up at the last minute.
Do you guarantee confidentiality?
Always. We regularly work with clients who prefer not to have their event shared, and we sign confidentiality agreements whenever requested. Nothing is published without prior authorisation.
How do we get started?
With a conversation. You tell us what you are imagining and we start having xclusive ideas straight away.
